About Me

Back to Malaysia !!!
Currently working while giving up my life.
……………………………………………

Just finished working 3 months in Park City, Utah @US as a J1 student, I'm now traveling alone in the West Coast of US.

I'm open to all kind of possibility, I love to try new things, YOLO, why not?!
I'm not a risk taker and yet I'm adventurous, what an ironic huh.

I love food, I eat anything and everything, my friends call me food wastage disposal hahahaha, however I realised that I'm not so into Mexican food as they're just pure spicy without much taste. Prove me I'm wrong if you cook Mexican food well.

Love reading (but I'm getting lazy recently), and doing craft, I can make you a bracelet if I have my stuff with me =)

I have sense of humor and it's dark, but sometimes it's tough for me to get some American jokes as English is my native language and I'm not so familiar with American culture.

Love meeting local, that's the only way you can know the city well. Or some secret meeting which only locals are allow to attend. Sound scary?

Currently graduated my degree and I'm gonna work and take a part time course once im back to Malaysia. Kind of lost about my future, hope to get some enlightenment during my trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new, I never couch-surf before, but it begins here.

I think the best way to travel in a new city(country) is to travel with the local in a local way.

In US, I have stayed in my local friend's house and have done camping with them. Compare to the camping we did ourselves(all the Malaysian J1), it's much more relaxing and well prepared. That's what I'm looking for, only the local knows the right way!!

Interests

I like outdoor activities, especially which is close to the nature.
Jogging
Swimming
Hiking
Cycling

I like to run for half marathon for fun, took part in full marathon once but ended up not running due to haze =(
Was about to register a half marathon in US, but I'm all alone without any guidance and lack of training for months, so I gave up, what a regret.

I love making craft too, i always make myself some bracelets, para-cord, felting, needle felting, knitting (I need teacher for this).

Of course, it's nice to have a cup or two with a group of friends after dinner. I got drunk easily, and I'll passed out just after 2cups of cocktails. That's why they say people who are thin like us have no tolerance to alcohol, I can't deny that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Country, Blue
, alternative, weird Chinese songs XD
I'm a sentimental person, I once cried in a bus while reading a not-so-sad story,( that's what my friend think of), I personally love the idea

of the story and the way they present it.

That's why I love blue music, it's so touching and make me recalled lots of memories. And I love traditional mordern fusion chinese song.

For movie, Comedy of course, I laugh very easily, and non-stop.
Dont watch horror movie with me, it's not a good experience for you i can promise that.

I love to read investigation novel, sci-fi and philosophy.
#男看金庸,女看瓊瑤,不男不女看三毛
San Mao is one of my favorite writter, her books are about some true life events happened to her and somes short phase to advise, express and accept.

I brought one of the books from the Hong Kong famous lyrics writter with me, I can share you about his words.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing much, but that's one thing I love the most is where me and my friend have a impromptu drama at a train station, those passagers are shocked and we burst into laughter at the end hahahaha

Teach, Learn, Share

Accept the fact that not everyone will stay in your life forever, treasure and cherish every moment you spend with them.

I love to listen about people's stories and their perspective on it, and I'll tell them mine. It's always good to look at both side and learn from it. It taught me lots while people explain themselves for have such a response towards a specific incident, life is all about experience, either someone teaches you, or you learn it in a hard way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Dont have much travel experiences but I would like to listen to your stories, your experiences and
your philosophies about life.

We can exchange some fun facts of our culture, people, country and etc....
Trust me, Malaysia as a Bolehland (Land of Anything can happen) we have lots of political jokes. Our food is damn nice, I'm so proud of it, so I'll try to cook you some Malaysian food, normally I can't as the ingredients are hard to gather. However I'll still show you the pictures XD... and videos of foreigners trying our food (they're vomiting).

I will DIY you a small craft if I have the material with me, or share you some of my home-country snacks. Yay, I do brought some snacks with me and a secret gift. You'll love it if you love Chinese culture.
