Im a 28-year-old windsurfing & sailing teacher from Austria/South Africa & currently living in Rio de Janeiro.

Half of the year I stay at one place at the coast in order to teach sailing & earn some money for the other half of the year when I go & travel the world.

I read quite some of your reviews & would like to get to know you. Im sure, you've got plenty of stories to tell :) Im also into the Indian culture (Budhism) and practise Yoga and meditation. I can also teach you some phrases in German, Portuguese and Italian ;-)

Im a very relaxed, calm guy who loves reading, writing while having a espresso or a cup of tea & enjoys spending his free time talking about life & life-changing experiences.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I've travelled many cities in Europe yet most of the time I wasn't alone & had somebody with me. The last places I've been to I've been on my own which was a great experience. Since we all know that diving into the respective cultures & seeing the ins & outs of every place is much easier being around locals, I want to give CouchSurfing a try. It would also be nice to just meet up for a coffee!

It would be lovely to exchange experiences & learn from each other :)

Im very much into sports, philosphy, spiritualism & personal growth, that's why I can recommend books like 'Manuscrito econtrado em Accra' by 'Paulo Coelho' or 'The Power of Now' by 'Eckhart Tolle or 'Walden' by 'Thoreau'

I love James Bond, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Breaking Bad yet Im totally open to see other genres as well

My favourite band is 'Audioslave' but I also enjoy classic music (Mozart, Tiersen, Einaudi, Debussy etc.) & Brazilian music very much.
