ABOUT ME

I'm a young (31) single guy who relocated to India in April 2012 to take up a GM position of a new hotel being built in Amritsar. This has been a life-changing experience coming to India and I have fallen in love with the country and the amazing people here. I'm a typical Kiwi and love my sport, especially rugby. Into all types of music which is a big part of my life. I love getting out and meeting new people, exploring new parts of India, having a drink with friends, being adventurous, just loving life and my new adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

Moving away from friends and family and taking on a new adventure of living in India has refreshed my whole outlook on life. I work hard and play hard. I'm all about meeting new people and gaining richness in my life through connecting with people from all over the world. I take life as it comes and try to make the most of whatever comes my way.

I've been hosting in Amritsar as I am based here for work. Have met some amazing people so far and just love the idea of opening up my home to new and interesting people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Have recently read Shantaram and The White Tiger, both books based on experiences in India and loved them both. My music tastes are as varied as they come. I love anything from the 70's; rock is probably my preferred genre, but the 7 thousand songs on my iPad range from eveyrthing from Johnny Cash to Tool, reggae to punk and everything in between! Favourite three bands of all time: Tool, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding my bike to Kalatop (Himachal Pradesh, India), 9000 feet above sea level; sitting on top of the world and finding a level of peace I've never experienced before in my life...

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook and might be able to share a couple of good curry recipies I have picked up since being in India. I love music and enjoy singing and jamming with friends, anyone with a guitar would be welcome, you may even be able to show me a few chords!
