ABOUT ME

I can proudly say that the word no doesn't often appear in my vocabulary. I love being around people, and I was born and raised in one city. Edmonton, Alberta.

PHILOSOPHY

I live by a very simple philosophy. I try to have an opinion on pretty much everything, and I find there's a difference between a heated exchange of ideas and arguing. Always open to having my perspective widened and ideals challenged.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Paying it forward. I might work a lot and not be very available to spend time together, as I'm saving for my next trip, but I want to be able to extend the hospitality I've received from Couchsurfing by offering to share what little space I have.

I've stayed with 4 incredible hosts, one in London, two in Brussels, (where I arrived only to find all hostels in the city booked, and was rescued by the last minute request groups!) and the last in Hannover. My hosts always took the time to welcome me, show me around, cook for me, and at the same time gave me plenty of time to get lost and discover the city on my own.

Intereses

Anything that has to do with moving and grooving. I love to stay on my feet and would almost always prefer to go out and do something as opposed to staying in. I can definitely be a little reckless in my pursuit of something fun and exciting, like climbing on top of car bridge to watch a meteor shower. I hope to find people with whom to share the never ending thrill ride that is life and show me some of their own crazy antics.

I'm a big Eminem fan, but I can say the one genre I haven't had a real attachment to has always been country. I love to hear something new!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I'd have to say one of the greatest moments I've ever had was the first time I saw the ocean. There's just something so mysterious about the ocean, with more surface area that's been left undiscovered than anywhere else on the planet. Plus, I wound up drowning.

When I found myself in Bolzano, Italy. A tiny little town that could easily be missed and is completely surrounded by the mountains...
Sleeping on a very cold beach after carpooling into Calais, France and then ending up having a conversation with someone who spoke no English when I spoke no French for over an hour...
Camping in the western hills of Athens!
