ABOUT ME

Hey . My name is Gareth.Iv just spent 5 months in the outbackcooking making coffee and cleaning every inch of that place it gets very dust in the bush.I Emmdale road house 3 weeks ago in the van i joint own with my german friend . the idea was to go to Broken hill for a day or 2 to get it registerd and road worthed but it didnt quite work out that way.It took a bloody week and in that time to kill well time we mustv walked up thoses streets more time sthan a prostitute. Any way we finaly moved on to Mildura in pursuit of fruit picking jobs to earn more money so WE CAN GO TO ASIA FOR 2 MONTH S BUT THERE was nothing so we decided to come to Melbourne for 2 weeks then go back to mildura but i love it here and have decided to stay my german friend isnt to happy about this and has decided hes going to asia sooner than later so now im living in hostels and desperatly hoping i find work .Well i found work a caffee in Alice springs airport where i was for 5 weeks i had to leave after to much drinking and partying so i went to work at another road house this time in a remote area called Musgrave it was much better than the last one .after nine weeks i went to cook town for the cook festivle after tht i went to cairns for a week n it turned out to be the best of my life .After cairns i was briefly in darwin then went to bangkok i was there for one week doing the usal ko san road ping pong show with my m8s thought it was funny got chucked out when my m8 threw the ball back hitting the girl in the face lol.After bangkok i went to the river kwai that was great going on a bambo train saw some awesome sights and met some great people after that i went to the tiger temple which i was shocked to see how drugged up the tigers where.any way after thailand i made my way to Cambodia Siem Reep being my first stop the things really to do there are go to pub street where obviously theres loods of pubs.Theres a good pub just of pub street called x bar where you can go up stairs on the roof where there just happends to be a half pipe for skateboaders for those who dont know.Any way you can just sit on the half pipe drinking and talking till the sun goes up.The next day of course i felt very differntly about the drink as i had a terrible hang over and was about to spend the whole day walking around the temples which when i got there started out ok because we started at the best one anchorwat but after that it got very hot and sweaty i was coverd in it overly eh.ANy way after that i was told about a place called Sihanoukville north of where I was This the best place to go if you just want to chill out and spend hardly any money at all.The people in Cambodia are typically chilled but in Sihanoukville They are super chilled could be the awesome beaches could be the sun or could be that they know that no matter how poor they are they couldn't be in a better place.I was there in total 4 months with very little or most of time with no money.luckily i met great people got a job at just one of the great bars on the beach called jjs playground.It was no doubt the worst situation iv been in financially but the best place in terms of the way i felt and the friends i made are like family.We went to the cinema well i say cinema a room with either bed or couches depending how many there are of you and a 50 inch tv and you could choose any movie you want and just get stoned and pissed.Theres so much to do and great places to eat like happy pizza which by the name suggests you can get pizza with weed on it that will make you very Happy.well any way after 4 months i decided i wanted to see more of thailand so i went to phi phi the island where that movie the beach was filmed it was great theres a bar named banana bar wher you can bye ready made joints and smoke them on the roof.Any way things changed the morning after when i discovered that my money had been stolen from my bag so i had to leave phi phi and i headed to Malaysia with the little bit of money i had left because i had a flight booked from there to Newzealand but i found out that without any money they wouldnt have let me in the country even though i have friends there that would of looked after me so after weighing up my choices i decided i only had one real choice and that was to come home.And now im trying to get a job so i can get my 2nd year in oz theres no way i can just stay in England to long after the amazing 15 months iv just had.After 2 weeks back home in Hastings im really missing meeting new people its boring same old people with the same old storys .Iv got a plan now get a job do the tefl course get my visa for nz then after go and get a job in asia

Well i think im a good person hope others agree.Iv just arrived back home after 15 months travelling and iv defently caught the bug as they say its the only thing im really interested in now.Theres so many places i want to go now and iv learnt so much about my self from travelling and meeting people.
