ABOUT ME

A reader, more than anything else. In love with travelling. Spent the first 21 years of my existence travelling through my own country. Now can't wait to appraise the rest of the world. Been around Europe a bit. Didn't know I loved meeting new people from all over the world until I met them. Every new acquaintance adds more value to my existence. I feel richer knowing I know more than just my share of life, I have others' experiences too to add to the concoction.

I am easy to get along with and interesting to have a conversation with, I am told. I am really eager to learn. About other people, their lives, their loves.

Grew up on Enid Blyton and took to Fantasy like it was my secret second life. Sidney Sheldon, Jeffery Archer, John Grisham were a huge part of my adolescence, and so was J K Rowling, of course. Now Terry Prachett gives me company on most of my trips. I do not shy away from new authors or new genres. Can hardly stand non-fiction though. Music, mostly into bollywood, because, well, I am Indian! :) But I also have a new-found love for raggae. Enjoy trans when studying. Never been a movie buff, I'd rather pick up a book than sit and watch a movie if I am alone but enjoy watching movies in groups.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have seen a tiger cross our path in the middle of the night out in the wild in the Himalayas. I have lived through the summer inside the arctic circle trying to sleep in the midnight sunlight. I have lived through the winter of the Arctic ogling at Auroras every other night. I have spent New year's eve lying in hot water springs staring at the moonlight somewhere in the French Pyrenees...and...well, the rest for when we meet up.
