I have been inking and painting traditionally and digitally for twenty years now. I created an original comic called The Chosen Ones and published a short novel called Cratchit & Company. I am currently working on an original video game project.
I went to the famous film school at the University of Southern California. I wrote, directed and edited several feature films on a low budget. One of these was Shamelessly She-Hulk, about the Marvel superheroine. A clip was featured on an official Spider-Man 3 DVD release. I've also written fourteen screenplays. I've shot and edited film the old-fashioned way, with razors and tape, and have edited films digitally for fourteen years.
From 2007-2009 I created thousands of pieces of artwork for an ambitious project to animate the lost episodes of Doctor Who from the 1960s.
A hobby of mine is film restoration. Most people know me for my restoration of The Thief and the Cobbler. This was something of a lost animated masterpiece. Richard Williams, who won three Oscars and directed the animation of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, is considered to be one of the greatest living animators. He spent 25 years trying to make one film, which he was never able to complete due to corporate shenanigans. I spent seven years researching and compiling an archive dedicated to the film and Richard Williams' work, with the help of hundreds of animators and other crew who knew him. After two and a half years of painstaking frame by frame restoration I released The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled Cut Mk4 in December 2013. I believe it to be the most complex independent restoration of any film ever done.
My father worked for Jim Henson and I maintain a Youtube channel, Henson Rarities, which includes rare Muppet series which I've restored, some not seen publicly in 30 years.
I also collect rare Monty Python material and run a channel called MontyPythoNET.
I know a lot about filmmaking, film editing, film trivia and film in general, and am happy to talk about it. As an artist I am self-trained but happy to talk technique. There are a lot of unique and unusual techniques I've developed over the years, though mostly it's just patience, attention to detail and willingness to do the work and practice, practice, practice.
