About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a recent graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.S. in finance and accounting. My friend and I are traveling to Peru for a little of 3 weeks (5/30/17-6/23/17). We are hoping to volunteer, dig deep into the culture and people there, hear and share stories, as well as see some of the historic cites around the country. We are working to have a firm understanding on what to expect from the cultural barriers before going, but also will be very open-minded to learning as we go. We're very excited about this opportunity, and are mainly doing it to broaden our perspective on love and what that means across international borders and how we can further that idea on an inter-personal level while trying to magnify it on a macro-level. As I mentioned above, we are excited to see the historically rich country as tourists, but are hoping that we may be able to look back and recognize how much we learned about what it means to love radically, because we placed ourselves in uncomfortable, yet safe, situations with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a great work ethic to be able to help with any chores at all around the house. I am obsessed with sports, so if you have children I will keep them entertained while trying not to be overly competitive. I have a good attitude in next to all situations that life throws at me, so I hope that I won't be a downer on the time we spend together.
