Overview
About Me
I grew up in Massachusetts, cracking rocks apart with a hammer to find what was inside. Eventually the rocks lost their luster so I spent a few years wandering, searching for the finest destructible calcite and limestone, teaching English in China and working in various national parks around Alaska, Wyoming, Yosemite, then newspapers in Nepal and India. Now I'm living just outside of Santa Cruz, and have been writing nature guides, working farmers markets and living a little country dream
Alan Watts told me that I'm an expression of the universe. Works for me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
because the world is beautiful, exciting, fun, unpredictable, unimaginably immense, and inspiringly odd, and this seems a good way to travel and share this little piece that I call home. And because I've enjoyed having woofers and wanderers stay in the past.
