I care about compassion and creativity. Empathy, ideas, hard laughter. For my day job I'm a Creative Director at an ad agency that specializes in travel, non-profit, and cause-oriented clients. Split my time between the office and film sets. I write and direct commercial content for TV/digital/social platforms that hopefully does some good for some people. But why am I talking about work?

Currently live in Salt Lake City with the greatest group of lovely, talented, hilarious, absurd 20-and-30-something degenerate friends you'll find anywhere. Okay, some of us live in New York now, or Portland, or LA, but Salt Lake is still a weird little home to all.

I love to travel, and I love to come home.

I love new horizons, and I love the deep, intimate community of friends and lovers rooted in decades of late nights and inside jokes.

A sense of movement and a sense of place. Reaching and returning. And before this gets too goddamn sentimental and sincere, you should probably know that I don't take anything in life as seriously as the last three sentences make it sound.

Certainly not amazing, but I wrote and directed a documentary with my best friend that spanned a few countries and picked up a few awards on the U.S. film festival circuit.

I come bearing gifts from afar. or booze from down the street. but always with gratitude and respect for the space. I've also been know to build IKEA furniture that my host has been putting off doing for months.
