About Me

I'm a jellyfish just floating through the world. I mean no harm and intend to enjoy my time floating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing, in my belief, symbolizes good natured human hospitality that steams from a love for our humanity. I participate in couchsurfing by trusting in the good of us all and sharing for the betterment of our world as a whole.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled North through the Baltic Sea countries and couchsurfed for my first time. The generosity and trust people showed by opening their doors to travelers astounded me. I loved hearing the stories the hosts would tell and seeing the culture they lived in. It expanded my understanding of the world and brought perspective to my life. Couchsurfing has taught me to nurture the goodness in us and be generous and caring to our fellow humans.

Music, Movies, and Books

All Quite on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day on a backpacking venture in Michigan I was nestled away in a cathedral of old growth white pine trees. At night, I light a fire and lied down hearing these monuments creak while they swayed in the dark cool air. The soft sound of the stream's running water rippled passed the roots of these giants and added to the melody. An unforgettable moment of total peace and grand appreciation for where I was.

Teach, Learn, Share

We teach each other
We learn from each other
We share with each other

What I Can Share with Hosts

Number one will be the healthy dose of optimism I carry with me in my day-to-day! I'll balance this out though with my sardonic take on the world. After adding respectable guest manners, cheeriness and jolly good times, it should all equate to a few good laughs (no more than 3 allowed though).

I can also cook and bake for you.
