COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Gonzo yet authentic adventures in a Chinese mountain temple, a Scandinavian farming village, a California National Park, etc...(the list perpetually continues). These somewhat unbelievable accounts not only set fire to all senses but also burned an permanent mark on the mind: to travel and to vacation were no longer synonymous.

However, these exploits are notches on a belt that does not belong to me.

I solely received the next-best-thing; the previously mentioned traveller provided me with a first-hand account of his escapades. Albeit only stories were told, his words were enough to burn an identical scar in me.
