ABOUT ME

I enjoy making music, road-tripping, meeting new folks and filling my memory banks with experiences to help me the next time around. Basically, I am an inquisitive journeyman (but not as conceited as that sounds).

PHILOSOPHY

Life maybe short, so act now. Then again, it may be long. In which case, you don't want to be hanging around regretting what you didn't do in those previous 75 years. Try not to let today screw up tomorrow and you'll be alright, generally.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couchsurfing. I go on relatively frequent roadtrips and see it as a great way to meet people and really immerse myself in the culture of wherever I might go. Being that I have two daughters, I will be extremely selective about letting people surf my couch but will evaluate everyone fairly and will imply no offense if I must decline. I am clean, organized, froendly and cooperative...but I do like having a pub crawl when I am travelin'.

I enjoy reading books by everyone from Ayn Rand to Umberto Eco to Albert Pike and Manly P. Hall and am interested in the philosophies of the Ancient Mystery Schools. Musically, I am currently on a John Scofield, Jimmy Herring, Robben Ford, Nels Cline, Tom Verlaine instrumental guitar kick but count all of Mike Patton's projects, Peter Thomas Sound Orchestra, Sinead O'Connor, Morrissey, Pink Floyd, Willie Nelson, Massive Attack, Granddaddy etc....as some of my favorites. As far as film, I love David Lynch, Kubrick, Coen Brothers, French and German Horror.
