Overview
About Me
Grounded, intuitive UX blerd paving his way through life. Houstonian to Seattleite. INTJ. Taurus.
I grew up in a very diverse suburb of Houston called Sugar Land. No, we don't all ride horses to work in Texas : ) I lived there for 24 years, but knew I'd be moving somewhere after college graduation. I believe strongly in cultivating a vision of your ideal future. Sometimes it's hard, but it won't happen if you don't reach for it.
Explored the west coast in Jan 2014, now living and working in Seattle as a PM for the Xbox Games Store focused on experimentation and personalization. I'm passionate about the intersection of personal/social consciousness and technology and I hope to delve deeper into HCI and meaningful work.
On consciousness, I try to be as self-aware as possible and believe in caring for others, while aiming to understand their viewpoints. I'm still working on figuring out how I can truly give back, like exploring bereavement counseling to fulfill a passion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Conscious, humble, creative and mystically inclined individuals with common interests are always good. Plus, people to do stuff with when traveling!
I was never able to travel much due to extenuating life circumstances and limited resources, so I'm in an exciting position to be able to do so now.
LGBTQ/Gay Friendly. Open to connecting with all types of people and connecting if you're ever in my city : )
I just moved into a new house, so getting that set up and can hopefully start hosting people soon.

Represented the University of Houston on a billboard campaign around the city.
Graduated college Magna Cum Laude with the degree of my dreams after caring for ill parents.
Qualified for regionals for 400 hurdles after barely making it the year prior
Interned for a fortune 500 company, now working for a Fortune 100
Helped launch UH's first student run radio station and had my own two hour weekly radio show. I'd always wanted to be a DJ prior.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am incredibly passionate about astrology and have studied natal charts for about 10 years now. Love them as tools for self growth and understanding of life cycles and patterns. I enjoy doing readings in my free time and eventually would enjoy counseling and/or teaching about the subject. If you're into astrology, let's talk about it!
I'm also pretty decent at teaching digital photography or videography concepts. I like taking portraits, so maybe I can snap some for you, or do a reading as thanks!
