I'm an English teacher living and working in Berlin. I have a passion for travelling and love to meet and get to know people from around the world. I'm interested in other people's cultures and religions. I grew up in the USA and moved in Berlin in 2005. I love living in Europe and in 2017, I renounced US citizenship and became a German citizen.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

One can travel and never get to know the people in the country. The best experiences I've ever had have been when I had real connections with the people who live in the countries I visit. I often travel alone, and this gives me the opportunity to really get to know the culture, food and people. I joined Couchsurfing because I think it would be an excellent way to experience real life.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love just about all music (not so crazy about rap). I always try to get discover local music when I travel. I've taken drumming lessons in West Africa and attended concerts in several countries.

I love to learn and to teach. I've been teaching English now for years and I love my job. I also love to learn languages (although I'm not good at it at all!)
