Career in local law enforcement after serving in the military. In 2007, I began restoring a century old commercial building in the heart of a dilapidated historic district and created a winery and restaurant in its space. Others soon followed and we now have a vibrant downtown for the first time since the 1950's. Currently also operating a rural vineyard about 19 miles west of the winery.

Love to travel but despise tourist traps and corporate business. I enjoy meeting local people when traveling? Enjoy the tastes, sounds and culture found in locally owned businesses away from the box stores.
