Overview
About Me
Im a 22 year old happy-go-lucky guy from Waterford. Living here in Cork with the last 4 years while studying. I've been studying Zoology and would consider myself a pretty active Marine biologist - my main field is whales and dolphins so anything you want to know about them, I'm your guy!
I have done a quite bit of travelling around Europe and the states and have met some fantastic people whom I'll never forget. With each new friend I meet along the way I try to give some outlook/perspective/challenge/activity and receive the same from people I meet, that's how you broaden horizons and open up your world, it's also a great way to do the things you would never before do.
I'm very open-minded and easy to get along with, and I will generally contribute in whatever ways I can, be it providing great conversation, good company, or even just some good food and beer/wine.
If you're coming to Cork, I'll show you around all the places you want, I know great hidden gems for craft beers, homemade meals, beautiful scenery, and fun adventures. That is provided I'm not crazy busy with college work or away at the time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is the best way to meet cool, open-minded and likewise people. Every person you meet can influence your life so might as well make a memorable impact. Also to provide a couch to those in need in the hope that the favour will be returned when I am in need.
I am also up for just meeting up for chats/coffee/company if you or I are not hosting but you think we would get along anyway.
Interests
Swimming, SCUBA diving, adventuring, basically anything outdoors. I'm also a pretty good cook and so I make a fine breakfast whenever I have guests. I also like reading, watching movies and listening to almost all music genres but I love when someone introduces me to a new music/movie or plays their own.
