I have met up with a few cool people through the hangouts part of the app and hope to have the chance to meet some people when I am traveling over the next few years. I am not much of a backpacker unless I am going deep into the mountains (couple of times a year). These days looking for cultural exchange rather than traveling on a budget type trips. Don’t worry I am not going to be sweaty from 10 days of camping in the wilderness if I am to use this app.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, share stories and culture. I registered this account because of a friend in 2019 as a way of broadening the people that I meet while traveling. I have been traveling since 1997 and so have accumulated quite a few stories over the years.

Interests

I enjoy outdoor life, camping, hiking and sailing. I also enjoy running, most individual sports and some martial arts. I am a musician and play with several orchestra groups in the city as well as private study of music. I also love travel and love meeting new people to talk about interests and swap stories.

Stood on the equator. Actually I have enjoyed living day to day. This is the most amazing thing that I can think of. I can think of a few others but not falling Into the category of amazing, just funny or interesting.
