Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
keep on moving about and talking to strangers.
ABOUT ME
I have never owned a watch.
An empty mind is better than a full briefcase.
College drop out with no regrets.
Tourists don't know where they have been and travelers don't know where they are going.
I like to swim and play golf.
I've made my reputation by getting into trouble.
I practice Buddhist meditation but not in any religious way.
PHILOSOPHY
Never put a price tag on happiness.
A smile opens all doors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I heard about couch surfing and thought it was a great idea. Why not? I don't lock the door to my apartment or my car so it's all good anyway.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far....I wouldn't change a thing.
Interests
Photography. Writing for horse racing magazines. Teaching English as a second language. Doing landscape work and getting dirty. Volunteering in after school programs, assisting youth with homework. Traveling to Vietnam and Guatemala on occasion. Playing golf when it's not too hot. Tai chi and meditation.
Currently playing with new project (website) called streetpostcards.com, which is random photographs and interview with people that live, work or study in New Orleans. Active in demonstrations, marches and protests to support un-documented Latinos living and working in the United States.
