About Me

I am currently travelling around Australia after taking 6 months out from my engineering Career. I am easy going and meet and get on with people easily. I have many interests and hobbies that I look forward to sharing with hosts and guests.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe the best way to explore a new area is to have someone with local knowledge to show you. What better way to meet people and new cultures and ways of life than to share and offer hospitality.

Interests

I am a serious hiker and love discovering and exploring new places. I enjoy swimming, running, gym, beach, diving, snorkelling, SUP and I am keen to learn how to surf. I enjoy reading, socialising, and sharing a few beers or a bottle of wine. I enjoy going to music festivals and gigs and have travelled parts of the world watching bands that I love. I like to cook and eat healthy and believe in everything in moderation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very broad range of music from Oasis to Daft Punk to Bob Marley to Lionel Richie to Shostakovich to Joy Divison to the Rolling Stones. I like visiting Jazz bars and blues clubs and have attended hundreds and gigs and festivals over the last year throughout the world. I am a keen reader and like crime thrillers, Jeffrey Deaver,Harlem Coban and Dan Brown. I watch movies but usually on the go as sitting in front of the TV for too long isn't a hobby of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done several things in life I would consider amazing however living and exploring the Blue Mountains has to be the best. I have completed hundreds of treks in this area and have taken many many people on guided tours and I am keen to show them the best this area has to offer. If you couch surf at mine, visiting this area is a must.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking healthy food and I am happy to cook a meal or pick up a bottle of wine if your happy to share the evening and share travel stories. I am really easy going and can entertain myself if you are busy and not up for socialising of an evening.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My personality, hiking skills and travel stories seem to go down well with my friends and hopefully hosts.
