ABOUT ME

I love to travel and explore new places. When i'm not travelling I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing and watching sport and listening to music.

PHILOSOPHY

I love to experience new places and meet new people. I am fairly easy going and believe people should be given the freedom to live their life and accept others differences.

Interests

I am trying to learn Spanish, and want to travel around Latin America when I can afford to! I love sports of all kinds, especially playing cricket and pool and watching football (especially Sheffield Wednesday) and rugby. I would love to work abroad again one day (have previously been an English Teacher in China and a Mountbatten Intern in New York), possibly in the diplomatic service.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - rock and indie music such as the Arctic Monkeys, We Are Scientists, Friendly Fires and Kings of Leon.
Books - Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Catch-22, Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure and books about cricket.
Movies - Action films, comedy and drama. My favourite film ever is Monty Python's Life of Brian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering as an English teacher in Hainan, China. The people were so incredibly friendly and as one of the first foreigners to live in their town they really welcomed me, it was a special experience.

Also being in Washington DC for Obama's inauguration was a memorable time.
