About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To partake in the wonderful concept of couchsurfing and show people from around that world what the American spirit is all about!
ABOUT ME
My wife and I are originally from Florida. Recently, we completed our education at the Medical center in San Antonio, Texas. We have left San Antonio to travel around the world before settling down possibly in San Diego California.
We have been traveling for 6 months so far: 3 months in Europe and 3 months in Japan and SE Asia. We plan to travel through New Zealand, possibly more through South America, and want to take time to travel throughout the rest of our lives as much as we can! When we are not traveling, we love to meet people from different countries on our turf to continue the cultural immersion =).
PHILOSOPHY
Helping our fellow man and learning about our world are two things which give us joy. Always try and have a positive impact on the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Before we started traveling we were hosting couchsurfers. We are excited to meet foreigners and learn about different cultures.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I travelled to Ecuador I was invited by a local family to stay at their house. A guy I met on the plane offered to take me to a hostel after his family picked us up from the airport. They convinced me to stay at their house because they feared that the area was not very safe. My first day in the country I welcomed into a local's home! I had a great time staying with them and am very appreciative for their good spirit and hospitality.

Teach, Learn, Share
My wife and I have a lot of experiences to draw from when giving recommendations for things to do around the USA.
