- I’m a creature of contradictions—An athletic bookworm, a night owl who’s an early riser, and an active guy who loves to be lazy on Sunday mornings. I’m always interested in learning new things whether it’s history, politics, instruments or culture. (I started teaching myself guitar and I am loving the challenge so far.) I am a keen cook and love spicy foods. I can be nerdy at times with things like sci-fi, gaming or anime but i also love being active and getting involved in local sports, surfing or dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My main life goal at the moment is to visit as many places and dive into as many cultures as i can to improve myself as a person as well as my knowledge and understanding of the universe. I want to open my doors to help others and hopefully be helped along my path too.

Interests

I am a lover of all sports and will always try my best to get involved with local activities. I have a big passion of all different types of music and other variations of that art form such as dancing, theatre etc. I can be quite nerdy and will sometimes be caught watching star trek, reading a fantasy book or gaming (board games or video gaming). As for food and cooking, i do love to make highly spiced and flavoured foods.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a passion for all music. Especially the classic era of Bob Marley, the rat pack, Rolling stones, james brown, all the way to 80s jams like toto or Bonnie Tyler. Then upto the 90s with some rap such as tupac or biggie or nirvana or blink 182 etc and even into the current era with above and beyond, london elektricity etc... Or i may be listening to Theatre hits! Movies wise, i tend to prefer 80s action films, sci fi or comedys such as Airplane. My favourite books are either quantum physics books or fantasy books such as Terry Pratchet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A cheesey answer but having a daughter is probably the most amazing thing ive done. However i have done lots of awesome fun things like Bungee jump into a river, Camped in a forrest on my own for 4 weeks living off the land and joined the circus for a couple of days to learn some trapeze skills, to name a few!

Teach, Learn, Share

Either through personal growth, work, travel and education, or cultural education and influence from others. I feel i have the ability to teach alot to others. From building a bbq pit, to sewing a shirt, to naming the old greek myths or even debating what happens in this universe. Im always happy to talk and listen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe everyone and everything has value on this earth. Im not sure what exactly i can offer other, i guess it depends on what the host needs. I would be happy to help paint a fence, devate about a certain philosophical point of view, cook some food or just share stories and listen and learn from their wisdom
