ABOUT ME

I am new on the couch - but I´m good with couchs. Not that I´m a straight couch potato but I slept on a lot of different couches in my life. I love couches, and they love me. My back doesn´t even feel bad on the next morning – guess that´s what Darwin called evolution.

I grew up on the countryside in a small town dominated by skitourism. After visiting a business-school in Kitzbühel I worked with old and handicapped people. After this shaping time I went to Vienna to study communications and musicology. Beside university I am working on an Austrian radio station as journalist, moderator and sound designer. The last half year I have been spending on an exchange study in Aarhus, Denmark.

PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes destiny plays tricks on us, which got only one sense – to laugh about and accept them as bad taste of humour. Without the Blues we would not be able to hear the funk, the soul and the rock´n´roll in our life. And when life gives you lemons – ask for tequila. Guess, life is good – as long as you know how to live it…

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In this globalised world people interact via social networking platforms and share everything. I really appreciate the virtual way of getting in touch. But couchsurfing means to me the use of an interactive technology to meet new people in the real life, to share knowledge and experiences, to learn from each other and to help each other out. At the moment I´m finishing my exchange year, therefore I got no home sweet home to offer. But as soon as I got my flat, mi casa es su casa!
