Memorie di una Geisha, L'arte della gioia, Bulgakov (fell in love with Margherita), Gončarov (Oblomov c'est moi), Dostojevski. Moby Dick (immenso), Boccaccio, Simenon (not Maigret). Erodoto (did I tell you when the Persians..), Aldo Busi, Senofonte, Fenoglio (tutto tutto tutto), Pavese and John Fante. Stendhal, Sándor Márai, Kapuściński, Douglas Adams Trilogy of 5, Omero and Faber. The wonderful poems of Mariangela Gualtieri (Valdoca), and the full-blooded ones of Raffaello Baldini, that I obstinately try to read aloud in dialect, for the fun of my neighbours.
