My name is Gaston, I am 22 years old, and I am from Münster, a beautiful small city in the North-West of Germany. Currently living in Münster, I will move to Amsterdam this September for a master's Political Economy. Until now, I lived and studied in Münster (Germany) and Lille (France) doing a double degree program in Political Science. Since I am both French and German and am very interested in Politics and Economics I chose this programme and it made me discover a lot of nice people and places. Besides studying, I love to travel, learn languages, and cook dishes from all over the world. I do sports (swimming, running, climbing) and like visiting art museums and watching nice movies!

Listening to a bit of everything I really enjoy Giant Rooks, Arctic Monkeys, Sticky Fingers, Eddy de Pretto and Manu Chao. The two best movies I've seen in the last months were "The Worst Person in the World" and "The French Dispatch". Among my current favourite books figure "A Brief History of Equality" (Thomas Piketty), "Humankind: A hopeful history" (Rutger Bregman), and "A Gentleman in Moscow" (Armor Towels).

One of the craziest experiences I have had was the journey from Cusco to Aguas Calientes on the way to Machu Picchu. It included me hiking for two hours alone through the jungle in the dark and a pack of wild dogs chasing me.
