About Me

I'm a student in management for social economy which is related with cooperatives, associations and foundations. I think that nowadays our industries completely lose their social function that was to share the results of their actions. I believe that we cannot come back in a 'natural state' but at the same time we can turn our capitalistic system into something else.

If we change our way of consuming resources and goods we can create a really better enviroment. Try to think what we can simply do every day: we can buy food and stuff in places that are not related with great distribution. It will be better for our communities, there will be surely a greater social environment. Then we could pass to buy local stuff and local fresh food: our local communities can be grateful in social and economic terms.

So my motto is: go local in a world too global!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing means trust each other and share habits and culture: a way to develop openness and stay human in a world that is replacing our relationship with digital ones.

Interests

During my free time I love to get lost in the nature and discover pure nature and astonishing landscapes. In the last summer I found with my friend the necropolis of Pantalica near Siracusa (Sicily) and it was a suitable occasion to live for a while as prehistoric man: there weren't electricity, water and other comforts.

When I'm sorrounded by the city I often ride my bike to discover the nearby countryside and unmask abandoned buildings and remote forests.

Last but not least I also appreciate to make aperitifs and get driven from time to time by what is happening around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love goa trance music and open air parties sorrounded by the green. But in general I listen all kind of music from punk hardcore to classical music! I'm not a good singer but I really love to dance everywhere, even during the cleaning of the house!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you want to get bored with discussion about the reason of social insurances and the necessity of a great welfare state you found the right person! I find really interesting discussions about the difference between european and american culture and related differences about the role of the State..

But, after all, I can also share my opinions, my knowledge and my delicious recipes!!
