About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.

ABOUT ME

I´m very easy going. I grew up in DeKalb, IL until I went to a boarding school in Orlando. I really love learning about cultures, people, and places. I also lived in Miami for a few years and then moved to Costa Rica a couple of years ago. After a few years in customer service, I decided to try something different. We now have a 2.2 hectare farm about 12 km from Monteverde.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm real real happy... So many opportunities have opened up and I thank God everyday that I've got the chance to do different things. I don't know what else to do but keep on thanking Him!!!

Everything and anything has happened to me but i believe that this makes me a stronger person each day. You have to learn how to sift through the bad to get to the good. I still believe that there are good people out there and i hope that the people that i trust to be my friends will prove to me that i am right. I love everyone that has touched my life in some way because as I said at the beginning, it has made me a stronger person. It is important to have your priorities straight and to strive to be a better person each day. I believe that God will be there for me and I trust in Him.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have explored many places here so there are a lot of cool things to see. I love living in Costa Rica and that is why I moved... because of all that is offered within such a small space.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies that are comedies and romance. I'm not into the violence.

Music that says something and changes your mood. I mostly like Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Baladas, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Rock, Pagode, etc. Something that has feelings!!!

Books that help you learn and reflect. I like subjects that challenge me to be a better person!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Looked for the lost Argentinian Airforce plane TC48 that crashed in 1965 and has never been found, being one of the unsolved crashes of all time. Instead of that plane, we found a plane that had crashed in 1947 from Jamaica to Costa Rica on the mountain behind us…

Teach, Learn, Share

I love the idea of learning things that I never even imagined existed!!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Panama

Countries I’ve Lived In

Costa Rica, United States
