About Me
Hello / Bonjour ! New to CouchSurfing... Trying it out to discover places with different sets of eyes and maybe have a linguistic and cultural exchange. I speak French (native) and English fluently. Happy to help practice (both) or offer short lessons (French only) in exchange of a stay and meet-up to see the city.
I'm currently living with roommates, so I haven't tried hosting. If the experience with CS works out, I'll convince them to open up our place for hosting. :) If you're coming by Baltimore (MD, USA) or Washington (DC, USA), happy to give you some tips and advice and meet up. Check out a blog my friend and I made: http://www.baltimorefunhacks.com
I don't blog much, but I'm working on it: http://nonsolumdata.com and http://notsostoic.com
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't always travel solo, but when I do, I like to try couch surfing. Would love to meet new people and see old friends, get a glimpse at the world through their eyes. Discover other ways of life, in their differences and similarities with the ones I know, and enjoy the place I'm visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Stromae, Daft Punk, Andrew Bird (thanks, Michelle!), a selection of 80's songs (Africa, Down-under...), EDM/Epic (Two Steps from Hell), Electroswing, The Living Tombstone.
Movies: Intouchables, la Vita e Bella, the Shawshank Redemption, les Choristes, Gravity, all Louis de Funes and Bourvil.
Books: And Nietzsche Cried (and most of Irvin Yalom's), Ishmael, The Undercover Economist, Les Fourmis (and most of Bernard Werber)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Setting up a safari trip in Tanzania as a skills exchange: game drive & camping (friend guide) in exchange of photos and business advice (me).
Else, while most of CS members already do this, going abroad solo feels like an achievement. Just getting out to see the world beyond an organized group visit is fantastic.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn how your world works and how traveling (or meeting travelers) fits your life.
