CURRENT MISSION
To connect people and cultures!
ABOUT ME
All about me. Well, I guess I am a nice, respectful person interested in finding out about other people, how they live, what they do, who they are. That must be my number one interest. I even work with Denmark can be better at integrating new people to the country, be they refugees, immigrants or expats staying for a few years.
I am good at conversations and a good listener.
I try and lead an active life. I don't get to watch tv very often, but spend more time seeing friends, going out in general, reading, listening to radio on the internet etc. I like my job but hope to one day work with internationals travels as a part of my work life too. Non-smoker.
PHILOSOPHY
I think my goal here in life is to connect people and ideas. And doing that having respect for other people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy hosting people, surfing, and I often talk about CS to others.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since joing in Fall 2006 (back then there were about 100,000 members) I have had some nice and fantastic CS experiences with people staying at my home. When visiting me on weekdays, it seems to work out well that we have dinner, some good walks and tours during evenings, whereas we split up during day when I work.
Before, I have stayed with people through the organization Servas. One time in Argentina with a mining engineer who had worked with Che Guevara in Cuba - he really had some interesting stories to tell.

Music, Movies, and Books
I hear different kind of music but have a fancy for music from the 70'ies (!) and in general rock, hard rock, funk/soul etc - but then again, I never thought music taste means so much as to whom you get along with.
I like to read, but I should take to more time into readings book rather than mostly newspapers and news on the internet...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once hitch-hiking, I travelled through Tierra del Fuego south of South America, the most desert place I've been to. In the "rush hour" on the main road from Chile to Argentina, a car would come every half hour, and I spent the night in a shepherd's cabin, 10 miles from the nearest human beings I guess. Another time I got a ride with the crown prince of Luxembourg, and had a incredibly interesting and pleasant conversation with him for four hours - unfortunately he hasn't yet returned my greeting when he was ascended to the throne...
Teach, Learn, Share
My interest is in "life forms" and if you like to share your experience with mine, that would be nice…
I know a lot about Copenhagen (and Denmark) from teaching foreigners about it, doing sightseeing tours etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation about the world around us.
