Overview
About Me
We are a small community of friends, living in the old Quebec City. This appartement is based on a common will to belong to something bigger than us, and to share more than a place to sleep. First, we share some fundamental values of respect and inclusiveness that we put at the center of our daily interactions. We also try to share as much free time as we can (even if it's often challenged by everyone's studies and works) to play games, watch movies or, even more often, just have a beer while discussing basically any subject for hours. Finally, we share the history of this place. While roommates come and go, staying from a couple of months to a couple of years, we try to keep the spirit of the place and to build on the legacy of the people who were here before us. Beer is also a common ressource.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since we have more free time during the summer, and a fluctuating number of people living in the appartement depending on who is travelling, we're back! The previous person in charge of the couchsurfing account is in Europe for the whole summer, so here is a new account. We are always glad to meet new people from everywhere, and to learn about different experiences of lives and travels. Since most of us have travelled or lived in different countries, we know it can be difficult to find an accommodation in touristic cities. Seing couchsurfing as a network of generosity and exchange of ideas, we see our common values represented in its philosophy.
