I'm a naturalist/ecologist studying biodiversity for my PhD at OIST in Okinawa, Japan. I love being outdoors and like biking, running, beach, hiking, diving, etc. for which Okinawa is a perfect place! Indoors I enjoy wine, music, books, cooking, and Netflix!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I like meeting and making friends with people from around the world, listening to their amazing experiences, and learning new things from them. I wish to travel around the world and there's possibly no better way to explore places with someone who's lived there for a while. I'm lucky to be living on Okinawa and having some extra space so I wish to share the joy of living on this beautiful island with fellow kind human beings who love travel and exploration.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

During fieldwork for my master's thesis I camped on a remote island in the Andaman Islands that was completely uninhabited. There were just 4 of us on the island, it was surreal!
