About Me

Back home in New Delhi after a happy trip to Tarragona where I tried out the great idea that Couchsurfing is for the first time. Still don't feel like changing my last 'about me' status from Tarragona.. Guess I'll continue to keep changing this part as I move from once city to another still keeping the last message as the trail.

Here in Tarragona till the end of July! Got one room with a double bed.. Looking to travel Spain with Couch surfing and why not offer my room to similar travellers

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because free is the best way!
Also because I like to know those who do things for others for no monetary compensation or any other motive.. I find many such people in the religious congregation I belong to.. But I'd now like to go beyond the circles of my religious commune to find selfless people..
In the good old Indian sipiritual/medical system also it wasn't like you paid up first before getting the service.. This concept is very dear to me..
BTW I didn't know that I was couchsurfing before I heard about it by making my home (then in Delhi India) available to friends from abroad and insisting on not taking any monetary compensation..

Interests

Spirituality/Vishnavism, Meeting new people, travelling
I'm a vegetarian.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything that sounds good

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Spent time with people with no hope for getting any benefit.
- 2600 Km self driven trip from Delhi to Madhya Pradesh and back via Rajasthan..
- Climbed to 15,000 ft (from the base camp at 10,000 ft) to Hemkunt Sahib (Uttarakhand India)

Teach, Learn, Share

- Nitty gritty of hinduism, India etc
- The whole part of being a new culture is that you don't know what you'll learn.. I'm open to it.. trying to learn and bring changes that help me come closer to how I'd like to see myself..
