Overview
About Me
I am a hotelier by profession and have worked in Dubai, London and Boston. After 15 years of listening and getting yelled at, i have thrown in the towel and do what i love doing the most...Travel!
Besides that I like to believe that I am a fun loving, down to earth and grounded kind of guy, who loves to live life to the fullest! Love my food and love to cook it too.
I could go on and on and on, however, there needs to be an element of surprise right?! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Everyone has good times and bad and so far I have had good times and have travelled quite a bit, but alas, the bad day did arrive and my job was gone...poof! None the less, I want to turn this into an opportunity, rather than mull over it, and travel a bit more and see the world sans the comfort of a Star rated hotel and room service. I want to now sink in with the locals and experience their culture, hospitality, food and the works and I cannot think of any way better than Couchsurfing!
Interests
Traveling (ofcourse) as i believe that this is the foundation of one's true self. Have only done approximately 30 countries so far, but there are way way many more!
Besides that, love adventure sports, cooking, the outdoors, camping, trekking, cycling, scuba diving (can't wait for my next diving holiday!), movies, food (an avid one at that) and there are many more, i'll leave that for when we have a glass of wine! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS: More of a fiction kind of guy hovering around mysteries, thrillers and action packed books. Love the Dirk Pitt series of Clive Cussler, John Grisham, Sidney Sheldon, Shamini Flint, Amish Tripathi, to name a few.
MOVIES: Bring on the action, thrillers, horror, comedies.
MUSIC: Like to dance and like everything that lets me do so. Not much of a fan of heavy metal and hard rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A road trip across India which spanned 5 states and approximately 4500 kms! It was one of the most amazing experiences that I have had! From the Tiger reserves, to the different cities, both developed and rural. Experiencing the warmth and love of the locals and seeing India like I had never seen before. This is something that I would definitely done again!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Absolutely important. This is one of the reasons I love traveling, as what I learn, i share and often refer to some period in my training sessions
