I am Gaurav from India, if you cant pronounce my name then you can just say Gandalf, its all cool. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Management and Engineering of Environment & Energy engineering (phew, thats a huge name :P). Born and raised as a defense background kid, I've traveled to a million places in India, lived there, changed places, made a million friends every three years, stayed in awesome camps, so I'm your go-to person if you're ever going to India. I am an easy going guy who loves to meet new people, get to know about their culture, share stories and enjoy nature. One of my main hobbies is to make people laugh no matter what, its something I love doing and will continue to do. Exploring other places, travelling with my friends has been one of my most memorable experiences to date, its so refreshing to see the beauty of each and every place, the similarities and of course the differences. I believe that food is one of the best ways to get to know about someones culture and I enjoy cooking, so in case anyone comes to stay with me, we could maybe cook Indian food together ;). I am an environmentalist at heart and I want to make the world a better place to live in, its the only place we all can call home after all. This was a little about me, I hope to host you guys soon, please do let me know in case someone plans to travel to this side of France ;)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I just got to know about Couchsurfing so I'm fairly new to it. I personally want to get to know more about new cultures, get to know about other cities from the eyes of the locals and try out new cuisines. I love to make new friends and I want to get to know more people around the world, host them and get hosted as well. :)

Intereses

I have an array of interests starting with travelling, basketball, badminton, tennis, hiking, rock climbing, almost anything adventurous and of course learning new languages. One of my Bucket list goals is to Sky Dive (not with a person attached to me!!!), So if one of you is a sky diving instructor, you have the upper hand in terms of priority *kidding* *not really* . I love to eat...a lot, which is why I spend most of my money while traveling on food and avoid museums, not because I dont like museums, but because food is just better :D

Music, I do not have a particular genre of music I like, it varies all the time so some of the bands I like are Imagine Dragons, One Republic, Maroon 5, Cold Play, old Linkin Park fan (yes I'm from that generation....Back in my day )
