About Me
Current Mission:
"I’m on a 45-day adventure across South India, traveling from Hyderabad to Dhanushkodi by road, exploring local cultures, traditions, and nature along the way. My goal is to connect with people, learn from their stories, and experience each place through the eyes of locals.
As a guest, I’m looking for hosts who enjoy cultural exchange and sharing their world with travelers. I’m happy to bring stories, laughter, and a positive vibe, and I hope to create meaningful connections at each stop. Thank you for considering me as a guest – let’s make some unforgettable memories together!"
About Me
Namaste everyone!
I’m Gaurav, a 21 year old part-time traveler and full-time student, currently studying Social Work at TISS Mumbai. Traveling on weekends and vacations is my escape from the hectic academic schedule and life's stresses. I’m an introvert, usually quiet—until I find someone with the same vibe, then you might have to beg me to stay silent! Traveling solo is my way of overcoming my introversion and connecting with the world.
I’m passionate about photography, collecting people’s stories, and exploring new places with a touch of adventure. I’ve got a bit of a sarcastic streak, and I enjoy good company and great conversations. Though I can’t host right now (hello, college hostel life!), I’d be grateful for any opportunity to connect, share stories, and exchange perspectives. Looking forward to making some amazing memories together!

For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay; it’s about building meaningful connections and exploring each destination in an authentic, unique way. Every host and fellow traveler adds something memorable to my journey, making each trip a story worth sharing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy vibing to a mix of Bhojpuri songs, retro classics, and English tracks, providing a diverse musical experience. 🎶
Books: Not into books 😒
Movies: When it comes to movies, I'm drawn to crime thrillers and heartwarming high school romances, exploring the excitement of mysteries and love on the big screen. 🎬
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing experience that will stay with me for a long time is my recent trip to Jaisalmer. I ventured into open camping and spent the entire night in the Thar Desert. The thrill and the hint of fear in that vast, remote landscape left an indelible mark on me. 🏜️🌙🌟
