The idea of multiculturalism first dawned on me on my fifteen day long journey around India as a participant of the Jagriti Yatra. Here I travelled 8000kms with 450 youth from 24 different countries to understand the social sector in India. With such heterogenity in representation, I got a glimpse of what wonders can happen when various cultures come together. Inspite of our incongruent backgrounds, various language barriers, dressing patterns, we were united in thought and intellect.
