Teach, Learn, Share
Once upon a time, I was sitting on a stone with my friend at the bank of a river, admiring the beautiful waterfall. A small puppy came to us, may be he was hungry.
After sometime he started barking at something on the other side of the water. The wave of water could touch his little feet. My friend got scared for it and asked me to pull it back. I had a very strong feeling that dogs are not such fool, it wont jump. But after a few seconds, he fell into the wave. The wave was strong and it was weak. But somewhere deep inside my hear, I had a feeling it will still survive. My friend told me that I am cold and don't have a heart.
I know I could have hold him but I told her that it would be invading his freedom. According to her, it was a small weak puppy , it had no idea of anything that was going on. But if it was so foolish then it could have directly jumped but it was standing at the edge of the stone and trying to feel the wave and fight it.
Then we were going back, trying to look in the river and hoping that it jumps out from somewhere. There was complete silence and even I was convinced that he is dead.
We were leaving and suddenly I realized that I didnt even see the water fall. My friend was pissed and wanted to me to get into the car and leave. But I insisted to go there and guess what, it was alive and more active than ever. It started jumping and playing with me. I could feel the happiness and peace in my mind after looking at him as if I have met God.
I learned quite a lot of lessons on that day.
