Overview
About Me
hello, i am gauthier. from france. though in the past i was used to hitchike and travel with the bike, camping, like that, couchsurfing is something new to me. i mean, i litteraly saw it on the news. now i have been travelling in asia for a few months, if you can call it travelling because i'm slower than a turtle coming back from the galapagos, but still visiting many regions in china, laos and vietnam. the world is truly big and i'm really tired, honestly, i hope it will soon be over.
also we can speak not only in the universal web browser, the tongue of the british kings and queens, but try something else. even like just making the sound of bubbles, it sometime surprinsingly well communicate meaning. sorry, it hurts my head the languages but i don't have a choice i need to learn more
there's a lot of amazing travellers on cs so i hope to hear some nice stories, even the less known ones, especially the boring ones, the banale actually

Music, Movies, and Books
no time for movies now but before, japan stuff like the taste of tea, one cut of the dead, dolls, the demon pond and the cure, memories of murder and the wailing for korea, china i really like wong kar wai stuff, suzhou he, some tsui hark, chinese ghost story, raise the red lantern, stranger eyes, black dog, nezha nao hai, and then some scifi i guess. also pretty big fan of animation, espacially 90's material
books be cheyene and la joueuse de go, and i read some old chinese stuff as well as liao zhai zhi yi, a japanese book i did not understand, language is taking a lot of my eternal baby mind so i'm kind of unneducated, sorry
