Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have a good time and meet some interesting people.
ABOUT ME
It's difficult to say too much about myself! But I guess i'm quite friendly, and get on well with most people, and like to have a good time. No criminal record either which is a bonus.
PHILOSOPHY
I've never really thought about having a personal philosophy but I enjoy living and always like to make the most out of life, not sure what more I can say!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had quite a few people stay with me in Bristol and met people traveling and stayed with people etc. Mostly it's been pretty good!
Interests
I really enjoy cooking and trying new and exotic foods and like to cook for other people. I also enjoy playing and watching sports, mainly football, cricket and tennis. I also enjoy photography though I'm still a bit of a novice (insert shameless link to my Flickr page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/117857918@N08/) .
Other than that, I read quite a lot and enjoy going out with friends. Obviously travelling as well!
Along with the occasional impassioned drunken debates about current affairs and the world's pressing geopolitical/humanitarian crises (usually whilst waiting for a kebab) - yet to find a solution though unfortunately.

Music, Movies, and Books
I guess like most people I like too many to list but a few films I like: Pan's Labyrinth, La Haine, Shawshank Redemption, It's a Wonderful Life, Up, Grave of the fireflies and the Lion King (who doesn't like that?!).
As for music, I enjoy listening to most genres, mainly rock or soul/Motown but anything really: Jazz, Reggae, Ska, Classical, Punk, Dance music, Pop (but unfortunately I have no musical talent whatsoever...)
I used to read a lot of Kafka, Camus and Dostoevsky but now that I'm over my existential crisis phase (until my mid-life crisis), I've been reading quite a bit on political theory - but don't worry, I won't give you a lecture about any of it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Looking over Florence from Piazza Michelangelo at sunset is pretty amazing (if you ignore the car park). UPDATE: Last time I went there someone stole all my belongings from my car. Maybe find a different car park if you're thinking of going there...
Or, slightly more crazy thing I did was buy a rusty old Nissan Micra and drive it from Bristol to Siberia via Central Asia and Mongolia.
Teach, Learn, Share
Um, not sure what I'm meant to write here!! I'm pretty good at Super Mario Kart so I'd be happy to train someone else up...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I try to bring a few typical things from my part of the UK, though I'm fairly accident prone too, so there's no guarantee they'll last the journey...
