Peace Health Happiness

I used to host in Phuket Thailand many moons ago.

Now I live on another beautiful island.
This time it is Siquijor in the Philippines. I have my own property which I share with my partner, we are a team and together we are creating our own peaceful sanctuary. It is our paradise in the making.

I am from Australia and will probably return one day but for now, this is it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So far I have only hosted and am very much looking forward to the shoe being on the other foot.

I love meeting fellow intrepid travelers and learning of their experiences. I think it is really cool to be part of someone's travel itinerary and to show them something that they may not have ordinarily experienced.
I look forward to do some surfing too, real soon.

Interests

Cycling + swimming are my main daily fitness activities (I try).
Yoga is also an important part of the daily ritual but I could do with more practice.

On the lighter side of life, I enjoy reading and deep intellectual navel gazing type conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am quite keen about movies and the expression of other peoples ideas and stories but do not really get into the Hollywood pulp. Nick Cave is always at the top my list and beyond that just about all genres of music in their context.

Spotify delivers our daily sounds albeit over a pretty crap internet service but we enjoy lots of world music particularly African beats.
