I love to talk about philosophy, life, music, books, and films.

Music is a big thing for me. I listen to everything and anything that speaks to me (a bland statement I know) but then I think deeply why it speaks to me. The more scathing and pertinent the political statement the better. Funky rolling bass, infectious melodies and lighting fast beats better yet. I grew up on punk (music and life ethos), and that is where my heart will always stay rooted but I'll go from listening to the lyrically charged sonic boom of the folk-punk genre to ESG and Liquid Liquid and other 70s new wavers; from Wu Tang Clan to Sonny and Cher; from Ani Difranco to Linton Kwesi Johnson.

10 years ago, after having open-heart surgery, I realized the bubble I was in and booked a one-way ticket to China to open my eyes to a bigger world.
