I'm an easy going and organized guy. I love conversation, learning, sarcasm and meeting new people! If there's an adventure to be had, I'm always up for it!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not the super philosophical type, but I s'pose you could say I'm of an open-minded, "do what feels good" belief. Lately, my philosophical goals have centered around trying to channel positivity out of negative situations; life's too short not to!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Primarily, I help organize local couchsurfing meetups and events. I've also hosted and hope to surf myself some day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Everyone I've met through this site has been uniquely interesting. I've found the community to be a great way to meet new people and join in on activities you might otherwise never participate in.

兴趣

Lately I've been really into fitness. I trained for and ran a marathon last March and have taken up several other exercise related hobbies. I'm also teaching myself guitar; such fun! I suppose you could say I'm a bit of a fantasy/sci-fi nerd too, whether it be via books, tv or video games. Lastly, I really enjoy trying new micro brews!

Books: I enjoy reading anything from fantasy fiction to historical non-fiction! I also appreciate books with a good sense of humor - Hitchhikers Guide and Terry Pratchett's work are some favorites.

Shows/Movies: I'm not a huge TV watcher (don't have cable), but I have enjoyed watching, at one point or another, the following - Firefly, Doctor Who, Family Guy, The Office, House, Game of Thrones, Futurama and Arrested Development.

Music: I like most genres of music, with special interest in Indie and Alternative, and really enjoy sharing and listening to music with others! Some of my most recent favorites are The Naked And Famous, Ben Folds, Metric, AM Taxi, The Hush Sound, Imagine Dragons and Of Monsters and Men.
