I hate writing stuff like this i find it a bit strange so I got a mate to write something about me and here is what he wrote...Thanks Dave for your kind words.
Where do I start with Gavin?

Well, I've known him for over 10 years, when we met for a game of pool and I discovered he's in the same line of work as me. And I'm pleased to say he's been a great friend ever since.

He's a creative chap, and his job as an art director takes him to some far flung corners of the globe - South America, Thailand, Australia, South Africa...

But his skills extend way beyond the day job of devising and crafting adverts and TV commercials. This man can cook, Now, I know a lot of men say they can cook. But Gavin can COOK. He recently masterminded a six course meal for a group of us foodies that would have put a Michelin starred restaurant to shame. What's more, his knowledge of wines would put the average Sommelier out of work.

He's tall. Genuinely funny (that'll be his Geordie banter). Always the first to get a round in. Warm. Cheeky. Friendly. A good listener.

In his spare time, He goes to gigs and the occasional club. And when he needs to unwind, he reaches for his boots to joins us for a hike around Snowdon or the Cotswolds. His latest project is doing up his swanky pad in Muswell Hill.

He's a diamond geezer. So get in touch. You'll be glad you did.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have visited and made friends all over the world. And also had them come and stay. I have even put up student from my home town and helped him full fill the dream of working in graphic design. He now works in London.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Slept in and on just about everything from a hammock to a canoe.

Diving with great white sharks!!!! snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, watching the sun rise on a beach in Ibiza, eating an amazing Thai meal on Christmas day in Koh samui, Celebrating new years eve at the Soho Grand in New York, swimming in a holy lock Scotland, abseiling down table mountain cape town, meeting my hero Riddley Scott.....to name a few.
