PHILOSOPHY
Honesty, Trust, Loyalty, Respect
I also love the idea of bringing people together through the internet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf whilst travelling and I host when I'm at home! I absolutely love both!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have hosted in Brighton, London and Damascus... had fun times with my guests and showed them around the town by day and by night! I have also surfed in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Turkey, Holland and Syria.
I once hitchiked to Morocco. This included no couch surfing but lorry seat surfing, back of van surfing, service station floor surfing and ferry floor surfing! I think a couch would be more comfortable than those things!
I Hitchhiked and couchsurfed across the UK and Ireland last summer!
I couchsurfed in Turkey and in Syria Autumn 2008.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I found myself at the base of the awe inspiring Citadel in Aleppo with 5 hours before I was set to meet my couchsurfing host. A man came up to me and struck up a conversation in English. He turned out to be an amazingly nice guy who sat with for hours just to chat before asking who I was staying with. I told him my couchhost's name and he said "Oh yes, I know this man - I have his telephone number". In a city of 4.3 million people I met someone that knew my host! I then proceeded to find out that when I had scribbled my host's number down I had written it wrong!! It was an unbelievable miracle that this stranger I had met had the correct number for my host!!! Amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have taught guitar for a few years. Could also give teaching piano a go and introductions to audio recording and adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro or photoshop
