About Me

Hi, I am 24 student from Newcastle, living in Edinburgh.

I enjoy the outdoors, socializing and sports (watching and playing amateurishly) hockey/ football, tennis/ racket sports. I enjoy running and being out in the hills and regularly go out into the hills around Scotland. I have grown up with dogs so i am comfortable with them and generally comfortable with most animals and pets.

I have traveled a little before, and am looking to meet people from different countries and cultures. I'd believe my friends would describe me as a sociable, fun and easy going person who is up for a laugh and is generally good company. I am always keen to help out and i'd be particularly interested in learning about local food; albeit i am an amateur cook myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am hoping to use this site to have some fun and exciting times, and to learn about the diversity of ideas, perspectives and different games throughout the world. In particular i enjoy playing new games so will be keen to trade classical games across cultures.

I would enjoy getting to know a host of a city and to learn about there way of life, about their local foods, perspectives and sites to see.

Interests

I am a generally active person and enjoying giving my hand at most things. I am keen to learn and discover new interests. I enjoy being outside and due to living in Scotland, I am used to fairly rubbish weather.

I learnt the piano to a basic level and have recently enjoy playing it sporadically. I enjoy making, preparing and of course eating food and am always keen to discover more about local cooking methods.

Teach, Learn, Share

Due to being a 5th Year Medical Student my understanding of the body and its biology and pathology is quite reasonable. I would be happy to teach the basics, for example first aid.

At school I also studied maths, chemistry and physics so would be happy to teach school level science if it would be a help. I have read books on sociology, philosophy and history and enjoy light chats/ learning about them.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
