About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life, have fun and introduce new people to the beautiful city that I love
ABOUT ME
I love to have fun. I love to play sports. I love to sing Karaoke. I love to travel. I really really like to party. And I'm super laid back and really easy going.
I do keep really busy and am not home very often so you can either come out and play with me, relax at home or do your own thing :)
PHILOSOPHY
I believe you should do your best to do your best. And let people do they're own thing, whatever it may be.
Live, laugh and love!
Personal motto:
"Whatever you do, don't suck"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I've only been hosting surfers. I travel frequently and plan to go to Europe at the end of this summer and am looking to meet other fun people from all over the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I found out about couch surfing when I was out at a bar watching a basketball game, everybody was clearly not from the area and people would ask me if I was a surfer, I said yes but didn't get it, LOL.
I ended up playing shuffleboard with a bunch of surfers and ended up translating for a couple of people, it was so much fun I decided to join!! (once I figured out what it was)
Interests
I play a lot of sports. I captain 2 volleyball teams, play ultimate frisbee, play on 2 softball teams, golf every weekend with my mom in the summer, am in the worlds coolest kickball league and love yoga.
I love to read. Vanity Fair every month and whatever book the universe sends my way.
I love music and to sing karaoke. I'm a freak for Beatles music and I taught myself Portuguese listening to classic Bossa Nova. I'm into old school rap and old Seattle grunge rock like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Nirvana.
I love good food and grew up working in restaurants.
I also have a love affair with whiskey and beer!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies, music and books, just like everybody else. I don't really have much time to just sit there and watch a movie, when I'm chillin I prefer to just read a book and listen to my records.
I don't have really any absolute favorite all time entertainment that I'm obsessive about. Oh yeah, except for the Beatles, but everybody loves them, right?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When in Bali I went to an orphanage with a few friends and we bought tons of food, books, toys, candy, toilet paper and other life staples. When we got there the kids were super cool, and so were the adults that look after them--mostly orphans themselves who grew up there.
When they saw the goodies they were all super excited but not one rushed to go through the stuff and claim their favorite stuff, instead we all went into a pavilion with a stage and some of the older girls put on a traditional dance for us with all the younger kids sitting with us westerners on the floor cross-legged. Then as a token of appreciation, they allowed us to only present the oldest girl with one of the bags of goodies, as in Balinese culture it is considered impolite to let the gift-giver see you open the gift. It was just beautiful to see so many happy well behaved kids that had so little but were so gracious.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook, speak other languages, financial banking stuff, how to play sports and most importantly, how to have fun in Seattle!
I love learning new things and I'm happy to share anything I have... If you can't share it you don't actually have it!
I can also tell you about all my travels...I've visited 19 countries, wow, it sure feels like more!
