I'm a remote worker who is passionate about food justice, innovation, and storytelling. I currently live in Los Angeles and am gearing up for a move abroad in the next 6 months. I love to cook, travel, read, and run. On the weekends, you can find me dancing, beaching, marching, or lounging. No city is off-limits when it comes to exploration for me, I'm interested in them all. I have no fear when it comes to food and love trying new dishes. My favorite type of travel is generally solo but also travel with my partner or best friend.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I first found CS while on a solo backpacking trip through Europe during high school from a traveler I met in a hostel. For my first surf, I stayed with a couple of awesome hosts who opened my eyes to breaking away from classic tourist traps in favor of more local, real encounters with a new place and people. I'm here to hopefully open up my own couch once quarantine is lifted and potentially find a couch when I get back out in the world.

I'm a big reader and runner especially in new cities. I often try and pick placed to travel to based on the cafe's I can read in and the trails I can run in. These are two really efficient criteria for getting to know a city. I'm super passionate about food justice and volunteer time with Slow Food USA's youth network as a leader working to engage and connect young people who are interested in non-industrialized or non-fast-food work. At Slow Food, we believe all food should be good, clean, and fair to all.
