About Me

A fulltime employee in a corporate world who is trying to squeeze in traveling / exploring places and learning other culture whenever I can. Traveling solo is a work-in-progress for me. Guess, no one is too old to learn new things 😆. Happy there's CS. Have known this platform since 2012 but never really tried it actively until the last quarter of 2019. And it's never too late. 😁

I'm a beach, watersports, and outdoor activity lover.

And a foodie too. So I guess I could explore streetfood with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new friends and learn interesting culture. To share and learn travel experiences with fellow surfers. And since this is not a dating site, it's safe to assume that people here are not gonna do anything other than make or offer genuine friendship. 😊

Music, Movies, and Books

My kind of music depends on my mood. I can listen to almost all genre.

Books I read are mostly inspirational/motivational and self-help. Other than the Bible (which I haven't really read from cover to cover 😬), some of the books I've read and have loved are Tuesdays with Morrie and other Mitch Albom's books, The Secret, and In Search of a Man's Meaning.

I like watching documentary and true stories, as well as thriller, suspense, horror, crime, comedy, cartoons, etc. Well I guess almost all kinds too. 😀

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I consider trusting strangers and believing in their goodness, as an amazing and liberating thing I have done, especially in a foreign land. I've seen good-hearted strangers during travel too. In my Singapore trip with friends, a local gentleman volunteered to show us the whole SG with his car absolutely free! In Taiwan, when it's getting dark, no grab/uber or taxi around coz it's remote and we can't find our way to the bus terminal, a lady let us rode in her rented car and dropped us in the terminal. Amazing, right? 😊

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories and listen as well. I can accompany guests on a weekend (if I got no prior commitment).

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand
