Overview
About Me
I live in Amsterdam center.
I like to meet friends, walking, cycling and movies.
I am gay and only host gay male guys. That is what I feel most comfortable with.
If you are not openly gay, and don't want a reference, I won't give you one. Your secret is safe. That is also the reason I have few references so far.
Please let me know in your request if you are gay. If you don't, I will probably decline your request.
My apartment just one big room, and I find hosting two people too much, so I only host people travelling alone.
There seems something wrong with the Couchsurfing calendar function. I am not using that at all. Still some periods seems to be blocked, while I am available, so don't let that stop you from contacting me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I heard it's cool way of getting to know new people, and I already hosted some very nice guys.
I have travelled in Asia and liked it a lot and like to go there again. If you are from Asia, that is a plus.

I can help you to find the best places to visit and best things to do in Amsterdam.
I heard many times that visiting Amsterdam is a better experience than for example Paris or London. Even though Amsterdam is smaller, there is a lot to see, so I recommend to plan at least four days in Amsterdam.
People often plan too much or too little time in a city, for example many days in cities such as Brussels, Berlin and Madrid, while there is very little to see there.
And just two days for Amsterdam, which is not enough. You can spend three weeks seeing Amsterdam and never be bored.
So I made this list how much time I recommend for some places in Europe:
Amsterdam: 5 days (many very beautiful buildings, canals, lots of history, culture).
Delft: 4 hours
Den Haag 5 hours (Parliament, Mauritshuis, Panorama Mesdag)
Rotterdam: 1 hour (if you happen to pass by, not worth a trip)
Utrecht: 2 hours
Amersfoort 3 hours (old city center, I recommend to stop here if you travel from Amsterdam to Germany)
Brugge: 5 hours (very nice old city, worth a trip, but interesting part is small)
Gent: 4 hours (very nice and close to Brugge, again interesting part is small)
Brussels: 2 hours (only Grand Place is worth seeing)
Paris: 5 days
Saint-Malo: 5 hours
Strasbourg: 1 day
London: 5 days
Cambridge: 6 hours
Edinburgh: 2 days
Berlin: 6 hours (only some museums worth a visit, not worth a trip)
Cologne: 2 hours (not worth a trip)
Bonn: 3 hours
Madrid: 3 hours
Barcelona: 1 day
Seville: 1 day (has some of the most beautiful places to see in Spain, worth a trip)
Córdoba: 5 hours (close to Seville)
Lisbon: 3 days
Porto: 2 days
Venice: 2 days
Florence: 2 days
Sienna: 2 days
Rome: 2 days
Napels: 1 day
